Today Planet Asia and Walt Liquor of Gold Chain Music and Josh Humiston and Evan K. Bogart from Agency for the Performing Arts bring you “The Gold Chain Music Tour ” to bring back that microphone mastery of yesteryear as an alternative to the say-nothing, pseudo-gangster acts of today. Each of the performers on the Gold Chain Music Tour is a master of ceremonies who has the power to excite their audience with enigmatic stage presence and lyrical prowess, bringing the fun and crowd participation back to hip hop shows.
The line-up is an all-star representation of West Coast hip-hop elite. Mr. Gold Chain General himself, Planet Asia headlines the tour as he supports his upcoming release ﾓThe Sicknessﾔ part one of his ﾓMedi-Cali Trilogyﾔ. Asiaﾒs partner in rhyme, Rasco who recently released ﾓThe Dick Swanson Theoryﾔ will support and make possible a special reunion set by the Cali Agents! Casual of the legendary Hieroglyphics crew who recently released his underground classic ﾓSmash Rockwellﾔ, and newcomer Flii Stylz who wrote and performed the soundtrack to the critically acclaimed documentary ﾓRizeﾔ about the high powered world of Krump Dancing will round out the emcee lineup. And to cap things off, Northern-Caliﾒs most connected, DJ E-Rock reppinﾒ Bomb Bay Radio on Sirius Satellite Radio will be holding down the 1s & 2s all night.
