Currently holding down the “Newest Joint” spot on dubcnn is Bigg Steele; the reason? Well the track is a heater and is a taste of what his album “Cereal & Water” will contain. “The Streets” is a track dubcnn premiered last month and as ever Bigg Steele hit up dubcnn to drop his latest album preview track; “Holla Back” which features the unmistakable Dirty Birdy of the Homeless Nation.
Bigg Steele wanted us to shed a little light on his sophomore album which is due out in June.
As previously reported the Long Beach rapper is taking a different approach to his follow up, after dropping a party influenced debut album last year not only has the production switched up but the topics are gonna be on a whole different level on this new release. “Cereal & Water” will come with guest appearances from Hi-C, Big Syke, Dirty Birdy, Dr. Stank, Diamonique, Coolwadda, Balance, Juice, Spitfiya, Kokane, and others. This album will be available worldwide, as Steele is currently finalising a major deal for his company Street Currency Entertainment; stay tuned to dubcnn for the exclusive on that!
He also wanted us to make people aware that the new album will come packaged with a movie! Not a low budget feature but a high quality movie release produced by The Cine Theives and starring Bigg Steele, Hi-C, Dirty Birdy, Big Syke & Coolwadda; the movie is titled “Dollas & Sense.” If that wasn’t enough he has a mixtape ready to drop in the next few weeks called “The Bigg Steele Chronicles 2” and he is currently using his worldwide connections to launch a radio show on Q104 FM in Dublin, Ireland with coverage worldwide via the internet.
The man is busy, real busy, but never to busy to get at dubcnn with the latest music, below you can hear the latest track “Holla Back” featuring Dirty Birdy and his current album taster in out “Newest Joint” spot for the next few days.
