After countless unofficial and a semi-official Remix of E-40‘s hit single "Tell Me When To Go", we now finally get to hear the official version of the Remix. In addition to Kanye West, E-40 also secured Ice Cube for a verse. Kanye’s verse is the same as the one from the previous Remix, but this time around we have the brainiac Ice Cube on the last verse who replaced The Game to do the official Remix.
He proves he still got it and he spits a fresh 16 over the same Lil’ Jon beat. Cube has been making a strong comeback to Hip Hop lately, it’s almost as if he pops up on new songs every week. It’s always beautiful to see rappers from LA and The Bay connect with eachother, especially two vets like 40 and Cube. Hopefully E-40 will follow up with a Bay Area anthem too.
The regular version is still hot on the streets and also doing good in the mainstream. The song made it on #10 on BET’s "106 & Park" countdown earlier this week. That’s for the moment, Dubcnn has the audio of the Remix:
