To those of you who have followed the mixtape scene over the past 12 months, you may well be familiar with an artist by the name of Cyssero aka Rockstar who has been featured on The Game’s past four mixtapes as well as releases from DJ Skee and Nu Jersey Devil.

The young MC from Philly signed to The Game’s BlackWallStreet label earlier in the year before inking a distribution deal with 101 Distribution for the release of his debut album; “Phillys Bad Guy.” The record which was released on April 18, 2006 features heavy-weights in the industry including The Game, Dogg Pound Gangsta Kurupt as well as Philly Native Shortyo.

The album also inlcudes a cut, “Main Event,” which responds to the diss by Cassidy on the Smack DVD. The CD also features an enchanced disc with bonus tracks.

With this debut release and guest appearances scheduled on The Game’s sophomore album, “The Doctors Advocate” – with production from Dr. Dre & Timbaland, the future looks bright for the young artist. A tour is planned to support the album release and raise Cyssero’s profile. As ever dubcnn has audio from the project for you to listen to before you place and order.
