How often do we gotta drop a free mixtape download…whenever we can for our loyal readers! This time we have a mixtape courtesy of Dow Jones, a name familiar to most with his “Play Your Position” series and the work with his West Coast Livin Promotions & Marketing company.
The mixtape in question is Volume 5 of that world famous series in question; “Play Your Position: Volume 5”, hosted by Cavie. Cavie is a name some will be familiar with following his production work on the massive selling album “King” from T.I. however the producer is now ready to “Do his ‘Kanye West’ thing” and showcase his skills in the booth rather than behind the board.
Hailing from the West Coast, Cavie has been en-trusted by T.I. to play a huge role in The King’s newly-formed Grand Hustle West label. To make sure the streets know the drill, Dow Jones & Cavie have linked on this mixtape to take you from the West to the Dirty South. The mixtape features 30 banging tracks with artists including Kokane, Kam, T.I., E-40, Spider Loc, Mitchy Slick, Crooked I, Jody Breeze, Lil’ Wayne, Mr. Short Khop, Tray Dee amongst others.
