“So they wanna run us out the United States?? Now they have us all in a United State!!!!”
Up and coming Latinos and Latinas from the Los Angeles area have banded together to create a United State. The outcome of this unity is “Dear Mr. President,” which was inspired by their opinions and support for the immigrants in the U.S. who are under heavy scrutiny at the moment. Put together by Most High Records, the track features their arsenal of emcees Caliber, Feddie and Talk Sick and their producers Boney Bones and M1, who provide the beat. Also riding with Most High is the illest Free-Agent in the game, O.Brown (whom we have a nice feature on coming soon), Kayozz of Suspects, Tapiseo of Los Tumbados, Lil Sic and Left of NTS. The hook was provided by the lovely and talented LaLa (You may have heard her get much props from Julio G, as well as heard her tracks on KDay or Power. Look for her project coming soon, she’s already worked with Mack 10 and is working with Dr. Dre).
Caliber explains: “This track is dedicated to all of those in this struggle, regarding the whole immigration situation. Hip Hop is all one love, but right now, all my Latinos and Latinas, stand up and throw your flags up!!!”
We have this for free download courtesy of Caliber and Most High Records. But you’ll also be able to hear this on Caliber’s upcoming album, Enter My City. The CD will feature AllfrumthaI, Dutch of NTS and Stico out of the I.E. Head on over to Most High’s Myspace page for more info on Caliber, Most High Records and the rest of the artists on this track.
