As we reported in June, Jay 211, the Re-Up Entertainment rapper, has linked up with DJ Vlad to release his upcoming mixtape. Since then he has been hard at work on the mixtape entitled; “Skull & Crossbones: Tha Mixtape” and as such it is nearing completion.
The mixtape is set to feature an array of guests including Scott Storch’s new artist Stacey Adams, Too Short, Xzibit, Ras Kass, Spider Loc, 40 Glocc, Crooked I, Travis Barker, DJ AM, Paul Wall, DK, AL, Jordon (From MTV’s “The Hills”) and many more.
Currently over half the tracks feature original production with credits including Rick Rock, Da Riffs, Khrome, J Gambit, Scott Storch, Dr. Dre, Nick Fury, Deon Evans (Big D – did many of Tupac originals) and more.
We have a buzz track from the mixtape entitled “Shoulder Lean (Remix)” which is to give you a taster of “Skull & Crossbones: Tha Mixtape.” It will be out in early September, with his debut album “Conduct” being pushed back due to some minor setbacks.
