The San Fernando Valley has given us artists including J-Ro of Tha Liks, Mike Shinoda’s partners Styles Of Beyond, One-2, Sixx John and many more however as of yet no one has truly set the 818 alight and exposed it to the wider audience.
One who hopes to be part of a swing in tradition is the Latin emcee Hectic, who dubcnn has featured many times. With his Valley Concept Productions behind him and his street album “Real Life, Real Lyrics” [click here to view the cover] finally ready for release – the 23 year old emcee is ready to showcase his talent.
Earlier this year we released two tracks; the first was a track with Valley Concept member Jade and Robbs The One called “I Know” while the second was the West Coast themed solo track “Incredible” – the lead single from the mixtape.
The response Hectic received spurred him on to get the mixtape finished and released and as such we can accounce the release date of “Real Life, Real Lyrics” as November 15 2006. The mixtape is set to include both of those tracks as well as one other we can premiere today; the track is called “Cali Lifestyle” and features Robbs The One once again. We have also included the material again from back in May of this year, check them all below.
