Recently a group by the name of Hardline hit me up, from Minneapolis, Minnesota and I hit up their MySpace page. Some of their songs were cool, but nothing that struck me.
That’s when the song “How Close Is Heaven” came on. The soulful and laid back beat immediately got me, like on some throwback 90’s shit. Hardline consists of two rappers, Anthem and Kite, and both delivery a deep verse, reflecting on life and the daily struggles.
