The talent formally known as Blunts LLA, Omar Cruz, has been riding a wave of success all year culminating in a 50/50 deal with Interscope/Geffen for the BYI Entertainment label. Since releasing his “Blow” mixtape for free download on dubcnn, he then created and put out the smash hit street album/mixtape “The Cruzifixion” which was the final step to impressing music mogul Jimmy Iovine.

As such we are pleased to reveal that in the latest edition of one of dubcnn’s favourite print media publications Scratch Magazine [shout to all the staff over there] they gave “The Cruzifixion” release a Hood (being dubbed Barrio, the spanish translation of Hood) rating, which is the highest rate they give to CDs.
