I want to introduce the dubcnn viewers to an artist out of Compton, Ca, who, despite being in the game for years under the name of Q’sta Tha Don, is ready for a fresh start under his new moniker Joe Blaq.
It was hard to put this update together, because all the songs that Joe Blaq sent me were hot to def, making it hard to pick out my favorites to showcase on the site. Tracks like “Compton Bullshit” or “The W” are straight West Coast anthems, then he has tracks like “Lexus Car” with a more mainstream approach, or straight gutter joints like “I’m Back“, which was recorded specifically for dubcnn.
