V-White Has “Perfect Timin” On New Release

Delinquents member and Oakland originator has recently completed a new album to be released in the new year. The project; “Perfect Timin'”, is his first project under the V-White/SMC Recordings imprint and is so-named because there truly is no better time for the sound of the Bay Area.

The album features production from Ant Banks, Traxamillion, E-A-Ski and Big Zeke and appearances by The Delinquents, Mistah F.A.B., Too Short, Casual of the Heiroglyphics, Ant Banks & V-White’s crew The Neighborhood (Big Zeke, J-Lee, Playa Los, 2 Face, Chris Lockett & Alicia Ward).

Hailing from East Oakland, V-White personifies his hometown so much so that people say V-White is Oakland. When asked about the new release SMC Recordings Co-Founder Will Bronson stated; “It’s important to us to represent the Bay Area as true to form as possible. Oakland has such a rich history, we knew we needed someone that was a direct reflection of that and when E-A-Ski brought up V’s record, it was obvious he’s the real deal and we had found our guy.”
