It was October of last year when we first introduced you to one of L.A.’s finest hip hop groups, Pacific Division. The group, that comprises of Like, Mibbs, and BeYoung, had at that point just released their acclaimed “Blend Tape” which created a huge buzz among the Los Angeles hip hop community, even getting the attention of Snoop Dogg on his pre-album track “My Peoples”.
We released two track for readers to check back then “Fareal” and much talked about cut “Women Problems” with production from Swiff D.
We also reported that they were working with their counterparts, Bleu Collar, Diz Gibran, and Ben Kartwright on their collaborative project entitled “The Great Wall,” a project that we premiered the first single from the project, where they flipped Busta Rhymes’ “NY Sh-t” into a new anthem for Los Angeles, “L.A. Sh-t.”
We have all this music once again for download below; however, as the title suggests Pacific Division have moved ever onwards and upwords earning them their first mention in The Source magazine as part of the Off The Radar feature. They can be seen on Page 32 of this months Power 30 issue, a scan of which we have below.
