In a recent interview, Mike Jones said “When I asked my label who bought my album the most, they said Cali. So I had to make my new single a dedication, to show some love.”
And so he did! His new single is called “My 6-4” and the hook samples Eazy-E‘s voice from the classic “Boyz-N-Tha-Hood” track. In addition to that he got Bun B on the song giving it up to the West, as well as Snoop Dogg dropping the third verse.
The video recently aired, and it was a nice surprise to see Mike Jones reach out to Lil Eazy-E and have him lip-synch the hook part of his dad’s voice. The video came out very dope, download it below:
