For those that don’t remember, we first introduced you to the duo from Ottawa, Canada. back in 2005. Deuce-Deuce, is Harvey Stripes and Nelson Down. The pair grew up together; a fence literally separating each others hood. Nelson would hop the fence to escape the day-to-day hardships of his life and spent most of his time at Harveys house. They began rhyming together using their music as a way to voice their thoughts about their lives and what they saw happening around them. They continued to drop freestyles on cassette tapes with the aid of a karaoke machine and the music would spread like wild fire throughout their neighborhoods generating a buzz with people they had never even met before. The logical next step for this pair was to start putting on shows to get their name out there.
After successfully creating a buzz, the two are gearing up to release their new mixtape “Double or Nothing”. The mixtape will feature production from Beat Merchant, the man behind Belly’s number one hit, “Pressure”. Below we have a track from the mixtape, “Emergency Room”.
