Heatwave is “Coming To America”

0

In a city known for beautiful scenery and a highly powerful and influential drug game, HeatWave is making a name for himself in the music industry. Vancouver is a flourishing city and with a nearly untapped hip hop scene and HeatWave is poised and prepared to compete on the Billboard charts and American mainstream stage.

This is one artist who refuses to be put into the Canadian Rapper mold and plans on making a serious impact on the U.S. music industry and abroad, all while representing Canada.

HeatWave is currently on the Killawatt Records roster that is owned and operated by the Canadian pioneering hip-hop group, The Rascalz. With RED1 as his primary mentor, HeatWave is blessed with the support he needs to nourish his rapidly emerging talents. Over the past year HeatWave has been fortunate enough to tour the world and as a result his music has become enriched with experiences and his passion and desire to succeed has increased tenfold. Killawatt Records has the leadership and resources for success and HeatWave looks to utilize these assets as fans can look forward to many projects and eventually a full-length studio album from HeatWave.

HeatWave is getting ready to come out of recording hibernation with his debut mixtape, “Coming To America: Live From Rain Drop City” due out later this month. The mixtape is sure to establish HeatWave as an imposing yet refreshing presence in not only the urban music genre, but also the music industry as a whole.

For HeatWave the mix tape is simply a stepping-stone in his game plan.

“I’m coming, America”, HeatWave says chuckling, “No, I’m kidding, I really don’t care about impressing the U.S.; I’m not trying to be a Canadian rapper who makes it big. I’m just trying to make it big, period. Hip-hop is all about what hood you from and if you ain’t from Marcy, Harlem or Compton then you’re invisible to people. I’m trying to be the talent that doesnメt need a famous hood to be certified and I think I can do that based on the quality of my music.”
