Dubcnn had the chance to briefly chop it up with shooting star Sean Kingston. The 17-year-old Miami artist spoke to us about his self-titled debut solo album, hooking up with super producer Jonathan “J.R.” Rottem through MySpace and signing to his label Beluga Heights, why he chose to keep it more R&B on his album instead of straight rap, what he’s planning to do after his record, working with Bay Area artist Clyde Carson on the song “Doin’ Dat“, who he’s feeling right now, as well as much more in this exclusive interview.
