After being featured prominently on our site this past year, Young De came to Dubcnn with an idea to give back to the readers of our fine community. When you hear De’s street album “Audio Hustlaz Vol. 1”, you’ll get his whole life story. By the time the record is done, you’ll understand who he is and where he’s coming from. Since we’re all family here, De feels its only right to make a new song that will let YOU air your story out to the world as well.
What is your story? You don’t need to lead a lavish life to enter in this project. You can write about anything that means something to you, what you believe in, what you represent, or what you like to do for fun. After you’ve decided what you want the world to know, send an e-mail in to eddie@dubcnn.com with your name and where you’re from.
NOTE: Any e-mails that involve hate or disrespect toward others will be immediately disregarded.
De will take all of the submissions that he gets and create a Dubcnn Anthem for 2008 that will tell the stories of the readers of Dubcnn! This is “YOUR SONG”!
EVERYONE who submits their name and/or life stories will be featured directly on the record. De doesn’t care how long the song has to be. As long as everyone gets represented, that’s all that matters!
“Your Song: A Dubcnn Anthem For 2008” will be included as a bonus track on De’s street album “Audio Hustlaz Vol. 1” when it drops on February 7th. You’ve got to get your submission in by February 5th, 2008 at 12 AM PST so De can record the song in time for the drop!
