The entire dubcnn staff would like to say Rest In Peace to the legendary Hip-Hop Thugster, the Godfather of Gangsta Rap, Eric “Eazy-E” Wright. Thirteen years ago on this day, E lost his battle against AIDS, and to this day he is missed by his friends, family and the entire Hip-Hop community.
His son Lil E is rapping himself now, and his daughter E.B. is a singer/rapper trying to get into the game. And Eazy’s label, Ruthless Records, is going on its 20th year in the game this year and are planning to release an array of new artists they’ve signed.
