Fresh off the mammoth success of his “Hip-Hop Weekly” series, Crooked I is prepping a new mixtape called “Block Obama” with DJ Strong & DJ Whoo Kid. The project will feature a mix of original productions and freestyles, with plenty of surprises in store as well.

We caught up with DJ Strong to discuss the project, and he expressed his enthusiasm. “It’s Crooked I at his finest”, Strong said of the tape. When asked about his collaborations with DJ Whoo Kid, Strong replied, “We got into talks about doing more tapes together, so me and him are going to knock out some real top notch West Coast [mixtapes] before summer. There should be 4 or 5 of them with Whoo Kid and myself.”

We’ll keep you updated as always on the latest news regarding “Block Obama”.
