The release of Crooked I’s much talked about mixtape “The Block Obama” is almost upon us and thanks to the people at Treacherous Records we have been keeping you up to date with the last news and media. Last week we announced that the project will be dropping for free download, untagged and without a DJ. Crooked is calling this one his mixtapes for the streets and he wants to let the fans and websites do what they want with it.

You can sell it yourself, host it yourself or just tell a friend about it. Crooked also encourages all DJ’s to download it, host it themselves and put it in their shops or put it for download on their websites or MySpace pages.

So far we have heard tracks from the tape including Freak (NC-17), W’s Down and Hood Politics.

Today we have the latest track entitled “Hard On The Blvd” – which features a message about exactly what Crooked I wants to happen with “The Block Obama” – check it out below and look for the more media from this project to feature on Dubcnn soon.
