If you’re into chess or martial arts, you should definitely wake up a little early on Sunday to check out Traxamillion and The RZA on Good Morning America Weekend.
The story will highlight the mission of the Hip-Hop Chess Federation (HHCF) to fuse music, chess and martial arts to promote unity, strategy and non-violence to American youth. This high powered segment will feature HHCF founder and CEO Adisa Banjoko, HHCF Chess Kings Invitational Champion RZA, and producer Traxamillion.
The HHCF has been picking up tremendous momentum over the last two years, paving a new way to engage young minds from underserved communities. Past HHCF events have featured RZA, GZA, Rugged Monk, DJ QBert, Immortal Technique, Rakaa Iriscience from Dilated Peoples, Casual from Hieroglyphics, Sunspot Jones of Living Legends, Def Poetry Jam’s Amir Sulaiman, MMA star Ralek Gracie, San Quinn, Balance, Paris and T-KASH among others.
