VTech (R) and Mochilla paid tribute to the late J Dilla during their second concert in the four-part “Timeless” concert series at the Harriet and Charles Luckman Fine Arts Complex in Los Angeles on Sunday (February 22). The Showcase was lead by headliners Carlos Nino and Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, as they performed an interpretation of J. Dillaﾒs music through their contemporary chamber music style. Nino and Atwood-Ferguson also performed selections from their EP “Suite for Ma Dukes,” live for the first time alongside a 40-piece orchestra and guests like Common, Talib Kweli, Illa J, Posdonous, Dwele, Bilal, Med, Oh No, Alchemist, Chali 2na, Fuzzy Fantabulous, J Davey and more.
