It’s been almost 2 years since we had new solo music from Defari on Dubcnn, July 2006 to be precised. That update focused around “Street Music,” the follow up to 2003’s “Odds & Evens” release.
That album contained the single featuring Dilated Peoples’ Evidence entitled Make My Own which we dropped for download.
Since then Defari has been busy recording new music for a long awaited new album.
Last week we got hold of the first track to come from the new album – currently under the working title of “Work Hard, Play Harder” – the version we received was the Clean mix and as such we held off. Today we have the pleasure to premiere both mixes together for both downloading and/or streaming.
Defari linked up with DJ Khalil on this cut who showcases once again why his production abilities cannot be ignored – this track is a heater! Defari instructed the fans to drop their feedback on this as he completes the new album. Get on our forum to lay down opinions on this track.
