We would like to introduce to Dubcnn readers an up and comer by the name 4-4 Water. His debut album “On Top Of My Game” released today on the label Jake Records, and is already being met with wild enthusiasm in the south. 4-4 hails from South Carolina, and is getting some love this week from Hot 98-1 (Greenville) and just made an appearance on the latest “Down South Slangin” mixtape from DJ Chuck T.
The radio single “I’m On” is just starting to get some airplay and the Seattle based label is excited. “We’re eager to show young 4-4 Water to the world, his music has bounce, energy, and a level of excitement you don’t always get from new artists,” said Jake Records CEO Scott Thomas. “We can’t wait to see how the album is received” he adds.
The track we have today is called “I’m Straight” and its a perfect introduction to 4-4 Water‘s music. “I made this record to feel good, and show people the south can bring it whenever we want to, but its got something for all y’all so don’t be shy, grab that,” 4-4 Water said.
