We’ve got some news for you that’s gonna make all the Self Scientific fans out there very happy! Via the official Self Scientific Blog, Chace Infinite has announced that he will be releasing a new mixtape on which he will be rapping over beats that his partner DJ Khalil did for other artists as of late.
“Our fans know a lot of the songs Khalil does with artists are Self Scientific songs or ideas first, so I thought it would be dope to do a Mixtape over the beats Khalil did that people always ask me if I’m gonna drop a verse on…“, is what Chace had to say about the idea.
The mixtape is called “I Would Have Killed This” and a first leak was sent out a few minutes ago. On this, Chace picked the “Kinda Like A Big Deal” instrumental that Khalil did for The Clipse featuring Kanye West. He flipped it into “Know It’s My Year“, check it out:
