Producer Illmind has just released his latest effort “The Official Illmind Remix Album”, showcasing his production skills with 18 exclusive remixes featuring an eclectic array of artists from Common, 50 Cent, Jay-Z, The Roots, and Masta Ace to John Legend, Slum Village, and many more. Having DJ Icewater of The Pharcyde mix the project is just the icing on the cake!
Also included are four tracks from Illmind’s group Fortilive, which also consists of Mushmouf and my boy Slo-Mo. Illmind premiers a series of exclusive tracks in anticipation of Fortilive’s forthcoming 2010-scheduled debut album. If you’ve been living under a rock and you’re still not familiar with Fortilive, check out this video of the group on The Wake Up Show from last year. It’s some dope footage I found in the archives, they give a nice introduction and kick some freestyles.
