Long time Dogg Pound and Kurupt producer, Philly native Tekneek, has announced an upcoming project by Kurupt & Roscoe called “Tha Tekneek Files” on September 22nd. The album will be entirely produced by Tekneek and feature guest appearances from Freeway, Daz, Gillie Da Kid, Jayo Felony, Sandman and more.
Known for his skills both behind the boards and on the mic, Tekneek has worked in the past with Havoc, Cypress Hill, Busta Rhymes, 40 Glocc, Chamillionaire, Bubba Sparxxx, Killah Priest.
Tekneek has also provided music for MTV’s “Making The Band” with Diddy and was formerly a member of the group Tangled Thoughts, who released the critically acclaimed album “Philly 2 Cali” with Kurupt in 2007.
We have two preview tracks off “Tha Tekneek Files” album, the first one features only Kurupt and Freeway, while the second one, a remix to “Tha House“, features Kurupt, Roscoe, Gillie Da Kid, Reed Dollaz and Tekneek himself:
