Up and coming South Central Los Angeles rapper K-Boy, fresh off the success of his latest mixtape ﾓThe California Earthquakeﾔ, is once again ready to make headlines in West Coast rap with a brand new collaborative project with Hoo Banginﾒ Records artist YG Soprano, called ﾓNo Home Training.ﾔ
Both artists have been grinding for years making their way up the Los Angeles rap ranks through various projects, ghost writing and much more.
A veteran of Mack 10ﾒs Hoo Banginﾒ Records, YG Soprano has been featured on several of the labels major releases, including ﾓDa Hoodﾔ, ﾓGhetto Gutta Gangstaﾔ and ﾓThe Hustlas Handbookﾔ as well as an appearance on the Westside Connection record ﾓTerrorist Threats.ﾔ In addition to his work as a solo artist, the Gardena native has also worked behind the scenes ghost writing, and is poised to be the first man behind Glasses Maloneﾒs ﾓGreen Divisionﾔ crew.
The other half of the project features K-Boy, who has been a vocal member of G Maloneﾒs Blu Division and Jazzy’s Jazzy Management, already has multiple acclaimed projects on his resume, including ﾓJackin 4 Beatzﾔ, ﾓThe Green Tapeﾔ and the aforementioned ﾓCalifornia Earthquake.ﾔ
Combining their talents and perspectives into this group project is something that has both artists excited, and poised to further make a mark on their rising careers. Known as The HooBang Bastardz, the two have just released two new songs to the streets, entitled Hoo Bangin’ ft DL, and Yurkin, both from their upcoming ﾓNo Home Trainingﾔ release.
