The video we’re bringing you today isn’t West Coast Hip-Hop, but I feel it deserves everybody’s attention. Most of you should be aware of the relentless protests and riots in the streets of Iran ever since the highly controversial presidential elections this past June.
These recent events have shown the world a different side of the iranian people, who are sick and tired of living under a dictatorship without the most basic human rights. Another consequence of these events was the emergence of musical talents, music still being the best way to express ones struggle.
One of these talents goes by the name of P.Cantell. His mission is to tell the real Iranian story, not how the politicians and the media portray it, but how the people living there experience it every day. He is currently working on an album titled “A Journey To Iran“, and one of the songs on there deals with the elections and everything that happened in the last couple of months.
