Throwback Bonus: If you’re getting into Fashawn’s music just now, check out one of the first write-ups that we did on him a few years ago. The Fresno native (Fashawn the Phenom!) dropped a mixtape in 2007 called “The Grizzly City 2”, which was the follow up to Volume 1 released in 2006. It’s amazing to see what this cat turned into in such a short amount of time. He went from being a Fresno rookie to performing in packed venues in Europe, and he’s still got a long career ahead of him.
