West Coast wordsmith Columbo Black pairs up with Mykestro for an even exchange of above-par bars on the track "So Far From Real". With both emcees best noted for their dictionary-like deliveries, this song proves to be more than a creative collaboration, but serves as an IQ exam for the listener.
English major turned emcee, the self-professed "phraseologist" Columbo Black is no stranger to good penmanship making his mark on his first recording, the "100 Bars" freestyle. As compliment to his concept heavy, substance-driven rap patterns, Columbo enlisted the help of Mykestro to record a collaboration over Nas’ track "You Can’t Stop Us Now".
Following the successful release of his free "Adversity & Ambiance" LP, Stro is back in the recording phase with Nottz and a consortium of other super producers, gearing up for "The [EP]iphany" series and a full length project prospectively named "Falling on Deaf Ears" to premiere second quarter 2010.
For now, Dubcnn brings you "So Far From Real":
