The music world has just been hit with some tragic news: Iconic rapper Guru has lost his battle against cancer and died on Monday night. He was only 43 years old. Only last month, the Boston native was said to be recovering, after suffering a heart attack and falling into coma.
Guru will be remembered as one of the most skilled MC’s of all time. The Hip-Hop community will always be thankful to Guru and DJ Premier for creating timeless classics together under the legendary collective Gang Starr.
