“Barely Hangin On: The Chronicles of a Brotha Like Rodney King ” is the title of the debut album from Los Angeles rapper Amad-Jamal. The project reflects a balance of the old and new by bringing back the elements of live talent blended with old traditional Hip-Hop collaborations. Amad-Jamal reveals his most intimate thoughts about the life-alerting events that led to the making if his debut album.
Guest appearances on the LP include Dilated Peoples, Defari, Maaya Ota aka Lady Dragon, and Gotham Green. Production is shared by Brisk One and DJ Dahi.
