Los Angeles Rapper E Reece Drops “Concrete Steppin”

0

“Concrete Steppin” is the upcoming album from Los Angeles based, Maryland-raised emcee E Reece. At a time where when there seems to be a lot of glitz, glamour, and negativity in Hip-Hop, “Concrete Steppin” reaches out to us with a positive, organic vibe to feed your mind, body and soul.

Upon first listen, Concrete Steppin draws you in to its authentic soundscape. Hip-Hop fans of late have been conversing more about “real hip hop” and what happened to the “real emcee”. Well it is clear that E Reece is from a different era; an era that we as hip hop fans grew up appreciating. “Once theyメve heard my music or seen my live show, I want people to believe in the power of positive music and to know that real hip hop isnメt dead.” E Reece said.

Not only does the album serve as great ear candy, its features have been strategically placed and they all serve their purpose. Guests like El Prez, Tunji, Buff1 and up and coming R&B singer Dasha not only hold their own but enhance the songs and take them to new heights. The cohesiveness of “Concrete Steppin” is probably one of the most notable virtues of this project, not an easy task when working with multiple producers such as Kev Brown, Proh Mic and Oddisee.

Dubcnn has a first sneak peek at the album, as we bring you an exclusive leak of the song called “The Game”. This one is produced by the aforementioned Oddisee, who is known for producing TiRon‘s “60901“, featured on “MSTRD”.
