After Ice Cube recently announced the unfortunate push-back of his highly anticipated solo album “I Am The West” from the original July release date to September 28th, he also promised his fans that he would release one song per month to make the wait for the album easier.
Since the release of the video to “I Rep That West“, listeners were eager to hear what else the Don Mega was bringing to the table with his new album, with the bold title “I Am The West“, which set the tone for a controversial record before the music even came out.
Today, he released a new song off the album, entitled “Drink The Kool-Aid“. This was the song that had stirred up a lot of discussion when Cube performed it at several festival dates a few months back, as he references many artists, including Dr. Dre, Eminem, Kanye West and the so-called “New West” (aren’t ya’ll tired of that term already?!),
