Say what you will about Bay Area rapper Lil B aka The Based God, but the youngster has achieved within the last year is amazing. Granted, he’s not your typical rapper-type, his flow is often off beat, his subject matter confusing and he calls himself a “princess” and “pretty bitch”.
But, the following this kid has built online with his viral videos and “based freestyles” is second to none. He recently rocked a show in New York City based off his online buzz and had the whole crowd doing his “cooking dance”. He first rose to fame as one third of the group The Pack (“Vans“), who dropped their latest group effort “Wolfpack Party” yesterday, August 24th.
Lil B released a new solo video yesterday called “Cold War“. This one should be more accessible for people who have had a hard time getting into him, as it kind of follows a “normal” song structure, more or less. Check it out below:
