August was a busy month for Snoop Dogg and September and the lead up to Christmas look to be no different. Earlier this week we brought you exclusive footage of his Rock The Bells 2010 appearance in San Francisco where he performed Ain’t No Fun live alongside Daz, Kurupt, Warren G, RBX, Soopafly and The Lady Of Rage.
On Monday we brought you footage of Game & Snoop Dogg In The Studio and today we have a video that sees Snoop, in the studio with Swizz Beatz yesterday, announcing plans to release a new album under the name “Doggystyle 2: The Doggumentary.”
Now outlets across the web have picked up on the viral video – which can be watched below – but few have recognised that Snoop has laid claim to be working on a “Doggystyle 2” on previous occasions which have always – so far at least – transcended into an album of a different name.
Only time will tell how it gets released, but the news that the album that is currently being worked on under the title of “Doggystyle 2: The Doggumentary” is set to solely be produced by Swizz Beatz and not Dr. Dre has already raised eyebrows. Like Snoop and Swizz alude to in the video, sometimes it’s about the sound of an album – and if it sounds right; it sounds right.
