It’s been some time since we last heard from the San Fernando Valley native Hectic who dropped his “Real Life Real Lyrics” album in 2008 and has gone on to sell over 70,000 units independently. Over the past two years we’ve dropped tracks including I’m A Hustler, On The Westside with Hot Dollar and We Them Boyz which was produced By Ernie G but since then all has been quiet on Dubcnn.
Today Hectic is back with news of a compilation album he has put together with Cloudstorm Ent entitled “Westcoast Comrades” – cover to the left.
The new album has been 12 months in the making and features the likes of Skull Camp, MDK, Robbs The One, Berreta and more. The concept of the “Unity Project” is to showcase unheard talent than Hectic and Cloudstorm Ent have come across on the streets. We have the first leak from “Westcoast Comrades” for you to check out today, “Destined To Shine” features Hectic, Jokaboy, MDK and Big Swiisha over a production by Alnasty.
