Someone who doesn’t appear on Dubcnn on the solo tip as often as she should is Watts’ own Kanary Diamonds; “The First Lady Black Wall Street Records.”
Having featured on countless albums and mixtapes – including last years acclaimed The Red Room release from Game and DJ Skee – as well as being included in scores for film and tv Kanary Diamonds is looking to make 2011 hers from the jump with the release of the highly anticipated mixtape “Diamonds, Boyz & 808’s” on 1-11-11.
The mixtape – the cover of which can be seen in this update and the back cover here – features artists including Krys Ivory, Jay Rock, Crooked I, Beeda Weeda and Wink.
While we wait for the release on 1-11-11 Kanary has kindly sent over the first leak from the tape entitled “My Love” for you to check out.
