Guests, Producers Unveiled: Snoop’s “Doggumentary”

0

March 29th is rapidly approaching, and the devoted fans of Bigg Snoop Dogg are well aware of the significance of that date. On that particular Tuesday, the Boss Dogg will release his eleventh solo album, the much-discussed Doggumentary.

There’s been a fair amount of hearsay in regards to who will appear on Snoop’s impending, self-proclaimed “masterpiece.” Now some new album artwork released at SnoopDogg.com has afforded eager listeners some concrete details.

Production on the album is scheduled to come from a diverse range of names. Some, such as the revered Fredwreck and Battlecat, are veteran contributors to Snoop’s prolific catalogue. Others, including Kanye West and Virginian sensation Lex Luger, will be making their first additions to a Snoop Dogg solo album. Interestingly, Scott Storch is also listed in the artworks line-up. Avid visitors of our forum may remember encountering a recent video featuring Scott. This clip suggested the troubled producer would be helming Snoop’s next single. Storch went on to suggest that the track would feature pitched crooner T-Pain. (‘Pain is also confirmed as a guest appearance.)

Aside from T-Pain, the guests we can expect to hear from include Snoop’s fresh-faced homie Wiz Khalifa, Young Jeezy, and the more familiar supporting vocals of E-40 and R. Kelly. The most surprising feature is arguably alternative champions Gorillaz, who will grace Doggumentary after Snoop memorably entered their Plastic Beach.

We will be bringing you much more information on Tha Bigg Boss Dogg in the run-up to Doggumentary‘s release. For now, be sure to log on to the Dubcnn forums and let us know how you think the album will sound!
