A couple of weeks back, up and coming producer Isiah Salazar reached out to me via e-mail telling me about this group called The Dudez coming out of San Diego that him and his partner Hazebanga produced an EP for.
Dubcnn gets music sent to them from new artists on a daily basis and let’s be honest – a lot is garbage. But after checking out the “Recess” EP, I concur with the way Isiah described it: “It is called ‘Recess’ because the concept behind this project was to create something refreshing… Take a break from the ordinary.“
That is exactly how I would put it and that’s why I’m releasing the project on dubcnn today for free download, with two exclusive bonus tracks added to the EP.
To get an idea of what The Dudez’ music sounds like, we have the track “Elevator” available for you to check out. Reminds me loosely of what a mutation of Kendrick Lamar and Wiz Khalifa would sound like.
