It’s time for some new music from possibly the most promising camp from Los Angeles, Top Dawg Ent. While together they form the group Black Hippy, each of the members (Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul & Schoolboy Q) are extremely talented solo artists as well.
While Jay Rock was the first one to make his mark in recent years, his protege Kendrick Lamar quickly caught up and after being endorsed by Dr. Dre, is now gracing the cover of XXL Magazine as one of the Top 10 picks for 2011.
Schoolboy Q recently released his critically acclaimed “Setbacks” album and the next up to bat is Ab-Soul, who already turned heads with his first two “Long Term” projects. His new project, entitled “Long Term: Mentality” (in short: #LTM), is coming soon and we have the latest leak for ya’ll, a collaboration with Kendrick called “Moscato“:
