Scavie Scoobs of LA underground trio Custom Made is no stranger to Dubcnn.
After forming Custom Made in 2002 with high school classmates Bluff and Element the group went on to drop countless mixtapes and indie albums such as “Sidewalk Mindtalk” (2006) and “Original Dynasty” (2008) via Babygrande Records with a 2007 “Truth Be Told” project on Rawkus squeezed in between, a 2009 mixtape called The Lost Weekend and then late last year they dropped “Hi-Def” via Coalmine Records.
That most recent record, available on iTunes, features production from THX, Abstrakt Soundz, Jayem, Animoss (Arch Druids), Terminall and guests Woozy (Brothaz Bent) and Mac Lucci (Hustle Boyz/DPG) amongst others.
Mac Lucci (Hustle Boyz/DPG) has been working closely as of late with Scavie Scoobs with the THX produced Watch That on “Hi-Def” and most recently on the Fire Tearz video.
With Scoobs finally stepping away from the group for a moment to focus on his solo career with his first solo mixtape “Trap Star: Volume 1” he has linked with Mac Lucci again for the track entitled “No Drama” from that upcoming mixtape produced by Ressa Exxel, check it below.
