Los Angeles MC/producer Blu has earned widespread acclaim for his work over the years with Exile, TaﾒRaach, and Mainframe and, as we told you back in January, is currently at work on his major label debut for Warner Brothers.
Earlier this year Blu dropped the 7-track “Amnesia” EP on New World Color featuring music from his love-themed concept album “Her Favorite Colo(u)r” as well as previously unheared material.
Just this weekend we dropped some exclusive Dubcnn video of Blu alongside Exile during their set at Paid Dues last week featuring Fashawn performing a new track that is likley to appear on Blu’s upcoming “No York” album; if you missed that check Blu Performs New Song w/ Fashawn & Exile @ Paid Dues 2011.
Last month, after “Amnesia” dropped but before Paid Dues, we caught up with this talented MC/Producer to learn more about the new album “No York” as well as discuss what it was like to collaborate with The Roots and independent artist Sene.
