Compton’s Reggae Star J Boog Releases New EP (Audio)

0

J Boog is a man of many influences. The singer of Samoan descent was born in Long Beach and raised on Compton, California. Growing up in the rough streets of Compton, the strong sense of tradition and culture that J Boog absorbed from his family was instrumental in his path to stay off the streets and begin a successful music career.

J Boog is dropping the “J Boog EP” on June 14th 2011 via Wash House Hawaii/EMPIRE Distribution.

The EP features five brand new songs, along with his three previously released songs, including his smash hits “Let’s Do It Again” and “So Far Gone“.

This release should help hold his fans over until the release of the highly anticipated album “Back Yard Boogie” in the fall of 2011, which is set to feature some reggae giants like Richie Spice, Tarrus Riley, Fiji and Morgan Heritage, as well as Hip-Hop superstar and fellow Long Beach representer Snoop Dogg.

We will have more news on the album soon, for now make sure to cop the EP on iTunes, Amazon and all other digital retailers. Check out a video of J Boog sitting in a lowrider in Compton fresh off his Australia tour promoting the new EP by clicking here.
