We’re back with the podcast of Home Grown Radio with Chuck Dizzle, Miss Bliss & DJ HED. This week, they caught up with 92CREW emcee and Inglewood, CA native Thurzday. The former member of hip hop duo U-N-I briefly speaks on the group’s recent split plus plans to move forward with his career and pushing the upcoming solo project entitled LA Riots.

Set to release August 9th, it features Miguel, Black Thought of The Roots among others, with production by Ro Blvd, DJ Khalil, Aaron Harris and THX.

While exclusively giving Home Grown Radio a first hand listen to certain tracks, we get Thurzday’s vision behind the project altogether, the goals he has outside the hip hop scene, and what he was actually doing during the infamous LA Riots back in 1992.

Later in the show, Ill Camille stopped by to talk about the success of her first project “The Pre Write“, the experience of promoting outside the LA area and talking about her upcoming show on 6/17 at The Key Club in Hollywood opening up for Pete Rock.

Also throughout the show it was only right to show love and celebrate 2Pac‘s 40th birthday plus mixing in some Young Maestro, Bad Lucc, BJ The Chicago Kid, Genasis, Tyga, Ya Boy, Eminem, Royce Da 5’9 and plenty more!
