One artist who has been on the radar of Dubcnn since we formed in 2002 is the Bay Area’s own Prophet. From his debut album “Block Venom” to his 2006 sophomore release, his free Listen To My Demo album right through to his Enrique Iglesias remix single Push that appeared on the “Step Up 2” Prophet has been on the grind.

In the last couple of years he has featured on NFL Fox TV with DJ Skee dropping a NFL Wildcard Intro record and most recently completed a mixtape project with DJ Skee & Chris Cornell called Scream.

Over the past year Prophet has continued to work, dropping material with production collaborator Deep H2oz and MC Six Reasons with the single I’m Eatin’ and its video.

We are back today with news that Prophet and his group 7Lions [see official site] have just been signed to producer RedOne’s 2101/Universal record label. With that said Prophet has dropped off a brand new single and video called “My Life” which features Layne Tadesse over a Deep H2oz production – check it below.
