Oh it’s really on now! Last week, we first informed you on the on-going feud between Messy Marv aka The Boy Boy Young Mess and Too Short.
To give you a quick recap…. Mess sent shots to Short via Twitter, who responded to Mess in an extensive and in-depth interview with Julia Bevery from Ozone Magazine. Mess then dropped a song called “Class Of ’84 (Fuck Too Short)“, officially putting his beef on record and even announcing another diss track, “The Bay’s Biggest Hypocrite“.
While Short had originally stated that he would not further get involved in the situation and that he would not indulge in “twitter-beef” or doing diss songs, fellow Fillmoe legend JT The Bigga Figga took it to the studio and dropped a song getting at Mess called “Take 1 (Messy Marv Diss)“.
Up until this point, Messy Marv was yet to explain what exactly his problem with Uncle Short Dogg was, so he reached out to the himie Tim “Styles” Sanchez over at AllHipHop.com for an in-depth interview, where he further went in on Short and also denied having heard of a rapper called JT The Bigga Figga (right…).
JT The Bigga Figga didn’t wait long, roughly 24 hours after Messy Marv’s AllHipHop piece, they released an interview with JT responding to Mess and speaking on the situation.
Now that you’re up to date on everything that happened, here’s the latest: Even though he had previously talked down on beefing over Twitter, Too Short went on a rampage last night, sending out over 30 tweets dissing Marv. He also unleashed his official musical response, “Where You At“:
