L.A. rap prodigy Blu has been appearing sporadically on Dubcnn this year, in April he appeared at Paid Dues alongside Exile to premiere a Fashawn featured record [Blu Performs New Song w/ Fashawn & Exile @ Paid Dues 2011 Video] that was said to be from his long awaited new album “NoYork!” which he discussed with us in this exclusive Interview.
Since then news and media on the Warner Music major label debut has been scarce but in May we brought you Doin’ Something, a posse cut which saw Blu, Pac Div, U-N-I, J*DaVeY, TiRon and Aymomari all on one song.
Today we are back as Blu has adopted an alter-ego B for his latest interim project “Jesus.” Although under a pseudonym you can still expect the same intricate rhymes and hazy soundscapes he’s become famous for. The release is in stores today, and can be bought via Amazon and iTunes and features memorable collaborations with the likes of Alchemist, Madlib, Planet Asia, and Hezekiah.
We have the title track, produced by Madlib, for you to check out below.
